Drop-In Support Surgery with the caseworkers from Jo Platt MP’s office (Leigh and Atherton)

On the last Friday of every month (starting 29th November 2 pm - 4 pm), Jo Platt MP's constituency caseworkers are holding a drop-in surgery for constituents here at Pensioners Link. 

No appointment is needed, please just drop in.

Please note, Jo and her team can only help you if you live within the constituency of Leigh and Atherton.

Leigh Dementia Carer Support Group (DCSG)

Leigh Dementia Carers Support Group is a small independent, grant funded organisation; run by volunteers.

 

Meetings are held at Pensioners Link, once a month – usually the 1st Friday of each month, 2 pm – 4 pm. 

The purpose of the group is to:

  • Give each other support

  • Share information

  • Give carers a chance to share their experiences & apprehensions with others

  • Give carers a break from their caring role through group meetings and social outings

  • Signpost people to relevant services
